This is my latest project/ discovery. I did some trial and error with it until I found a tutorial video narrated by some guy with a creepy voice, nonetheless it was helpful! as you can see from the two pictures, this is a candle made out of a tangerine! No wick or wax needed! If you look it up on pinterest it will make more sense but basically you make a slit around the middle and peel the top and bottom from the innnerds of the tangerine(keeping the two halves intact). Then there will be one half that has a pulp stem still attatched and sticking up in the center, fill that side 1/4 full with olive oil and light the pulp "wick" on fire. the other half must have an opening in the top and you can make it any fun design you want, so long as its big enough, once it does you can put it on top and the little candle will burn for about 30 minutes! this may seem rather useless but it was really fun to do and they turn out SO PRETTY! :) and they have a very light smell that is simply delightful :) have fun!!!My Name is Maelani Parker and I married my best friend in 2012. We have a new angel in our home and this is a place to share a bit of our eternal story. enjoy :)
